One of the students created a book with sentences of her spelling words this week! Very creative!
Math
We continued to work on double digit addition and worked on page 94 in our workbooks. After I got the students to do mental math using addition flash cards. Students got in partners and used the flash cards to practice. We will be using the flash cards daily now because I want them figuring out answers in their head instead of their fingers.

Inquiry into Language
Students took their spelling test today. After they wrote in their journals using their sentence starters. Today's topic was "What are you doing this weekend?"
