Math
Today we started adding again. Students worked on page 93 in their math workbooks on number sentences. They looked at pictures of different objects and created addition and subtraction number sentences. After I started teaching the kids adding in columns and carrying over. The students seem to really like it!
Inquiry into Language
Students wrote in their journals again today using their sentence starters. Today's topic was What do you do at the mall or the store.
Unit of Inquiry
Continuing our organization unit, the students organized a refrigerator. Students thought of different things that belong in a refrigerator and drew the objects and organized them. They will continue with their refrigerators tomorrow.
