Daily Five

French
Next we had French with Mlle Jessica! You can check out her blog at http://mllehousja.blogspot.com/

Math
Today we learned about what a thermometer is and how to tell the temperature on it. I got a cup of water and a thermometer in the cup. I told students the red line on the thermometer determines what the temperature is. When the red line is low that means the temperature is cold. When the red line is high that means the temperature is hot. I gave the students the cup of water with the thermometer in it to see how the temperature changes, the water was 10 degrees. As the day went on we checked the temperature to see if it would rise or fall. When we were done with temperature we worked on money and how much each coin is worth and what is the coin called.

Gym
After first lunch and recess the students had gym with Ms. Yustin. You can check out her blog at http://sjaayustin.blogspot.com
