Inquiry into Language
We had our spelling test today. I am getting students now to write their name and the date on the first line in their spelling test journal. I showed them how to write it properly on the board. After we worked on verbs. I had the students to tell me a verb and then do that action. We played a game called guess the verb and noun. I wrote a sentence on the board and two students who raised their hand first, raced to the white board to underline the verb and circle the noun.
Gym

Math
Today we started to learn about money!!! Students got a booklet today called Show Me The Money!! Inside had they learned about a loonie, toonie, dime, nickel, quarter, and a penny! They learned how much each coin is worth as well!
Unit of Inquiry
We broke down our fossil this afternoon! We have tried for the last week ot break it down so I tried helping the students today with it! It was a bit hard but we are making progress getting to our dinosaur fossil!
