Today the students became number detectives to solve the mystery of missing numbers! The students had pieces of different number charts where they had to fill in the numbers that were missing from them. After the students had to write down and explain how they chose the numbers to write and how did they know where to put it.

Inquiry into Language
We began our novel study called Dinosaurs Before Dark. I read the first chapter with students and the students answered a worksheet about what they read. Students had to write the name of the main characters and draw them. Next they had to answer what Annie found in the woods. After the students answered what was the tree house filled with. The students drew and coloured dinosaurs on the cover of their booklet. We will be continuing this book throughout the month.
Unit of Inquiry
We worked on our IB binders today since we have finished our first UOI unit. The students pick their best work, work hardest to work on, and what to improve on.
