Math
We continued with estimation and groups of ten today. Students grabbed a handful of beans and estimated how many they had in their hands. After they wrote down their estimate in their math workbooks. After they counted in groups of ten how many beans they actually had. They colored in their ten frames that showed how many beans they had.
Gym

Language
We worked in our spelling workbooks using our new spelling words. These words start with the letters v, z, and q.
Unit of Inquiry
We are starting our new unit on dinosaurs!! As an introduction the students made a KWL chart. Students wrote down what they Know about dinosaurs and what they Want to know about dinosaurs as well. Throughout this unit we will fill in the Learned column of the chart.
