We started class with everyone doing their classroom jobs. Everyone attended to their responsibilities, just like we talked about yesterday. After students were able to read books and sit in our reading area.

Inquiry into Language
The students had their spelling test today. They wrote each word in their spelling tests journals. After the test I got the students to work in their cursive workbooks. Some students did not have their workbooks so we practiced on the board!
Gym

Students will bring home a math review for the week. They will have their test on sorting and patterning next Friday September 21st.
Students will also bring home a letter to you all saying they will be responsible to do something everyday at home. Help them write down what they will be responsible for at home If you could please take pictures of them being responsible it will be greatly appreciated!

Math
We worked in our workbooks today. The students had to make a pattern with 9 red, 3 green, and 6 blue shapes! We continued with our workbooks of unfinished pages.
Unit of Inquiry
We brainstormed 3 ideas on how we can be more responsible at home for mom and dad! Next they wrote a letter to parents saying what they will be responsible for at home everyday. Please take pictures of the children being responsible at home and email them to me! I would like to put them on our action wall!
