We started off the day with a punctuation worksheet! students cut out question marks and periods and glued them on to sentences that were asking or telling.

Math
We worked in our math workbooks today! We focused on creating the same patterns as shown in the workbook and also creating patterns using different attributes such as words and letters.
Gym

Just a reminder that BBQ forms and money are due tomorrow September 14th. Also every Monday I will send spelling words home. The students have to make a sentence for each word which is due Fridays. Spelling tests are always on Friday as well.
Inquiry into Language
We did a Ontario Writing Assessment today. This is a pre assessment so this is not graded. This is just to see their prior knowledge in writing rules.
Unit of Inquiry
As a class we discussed what responsibilities mean. We also talked about our classroom jobs what are our responsibilities for that job. I took some pictures of students doing their class job responsibilities. The students wrote down three things they are responsible for at school and three things they are responsible for at home. We will finish this tomorrow!
