We worked on telling time today. We focused on telling times quarter to, quarter past, and half past. Students worked on various worksheets to help them practice.

Inquiry into Language/Daily Five
Students took their spelling test today. After students read a book of their choice.
Gym
After first lunch and recess the students had gym with Ms. Yustin. You can check out her blog at http://sjaayustin.blogspot.com
Getting Organized
After gym students took everything out of their desk and organized their papers in piles. I told them to make piles for drawings, math, and language. All their drawings were sent home and anything that they did not want or was not needed anymore went into recycling.
Unit of Inquiry
We finished up the last of our dinosaur presentations today!!!
Inquiry into Language
Students wrote detailed sentences in their journals at the end of the day. Their topic to write about was dinosaurs.
