Math

We did our pre assessment for time, temperature, and money today. For this new unit students will be learning how to tell the time, know how to read the temperature, know the amounts for money and how to count them.

Gym

Inquiry into Language

We read chapter 6 today of Dinosaurs Before Dark. We answered the questions about the new dinosaurs that were talked about!

Science

Today we learned about different science experiment terms. This will help us when we start our science experiment this week! We learned about

• a hypothesis
• asking questions
• making observations
• conducting an experiment
• drawing conclusions
• reporting results 

So we did two experiments to test our knowledge. The first one was how many jumping jacks one person could do in 30 seconds. I wrote down students hypothesis. Next I had some students come up to do the experiment, the others observed what was happening. I asked the students what observations they noticed while they were running. After I asked the students what can we conclude from this experiemnt, what they learned. I wrote everything down on our white board.
