For the children's Halloween costumes, please do not have them bring any weapons for their costumes or wear any face paint. If they do they will be taken away until the end of the school day.
Just a reminder that winter uniforms have started. Please have the children wear their long sleeve shirts from now on. Also make sure that the children have indoor and outdoor shoes everyday. Do not send them with one pair of shoes.

We took our math test on numeration today.

Inquiry into Language
We worked in our spelling workbooks for our mid-review. Students worked on things that included all the spelling words we have learned these past two months. Students chose 10 words to do for their spelling sentences this week. They have written it down and have it in their agenda bags. I will chose 10 words ,from the 30 in the workbook, for their spelling test.
Unit of Inquiry
Today the students made their own dinosaur name! I wrote on their board If I was a dinosaur I be a __________osaurus. I asked the students to think about what they would like to be called if they were a dinosaur. We worked on our rough copies today and will make our good copies tomorrow.
