We started off the day with Neophyte assembly! I got some pictures with the kids!

Math- As a class we went over sorting. I made a venn diagram of two circles that had two different objects in each circle. one circle had a yellow block and the other side had a pencil. we talked about how these two are different. then we discussed the middle and how objects in the middle have something from both circles. We had a yellow pencil crayon in the middle. The children noticed that it was yellow like the block and a pencil like the writing pencil. We did a few more examples. After students worked on page 16 in their math workbooks.
Language- We worked on our Recipe for a good school year worksheets. Students had to write down what ingredients made a good school year!

This month our learner profile is inquiry so I read to the students a book called Curious George. Each month we focus on one learner profile and I will read a book pertaining to that learner profile. We will finish the book on Monday and work on a worksheet on inquiry.
